Frankston Heights Vet - We help your pets when they're sick

Surgery

With our high-spec surgical suite and experienced surgeons we are able to perform a full range of surgical procedures and operations, including desexings, soft tissue surgery and orthopaedics as well as specialising in brachycephalic breeds.

Consultations

When your pet is injured or unwell, or just seems not quite right, a consultation with one of our team can be arranged by phone or by booking online.

After some questions and a thorough examination, we’ll come up with a plan for treatment or further diagnositics.

Dermatology

When things go wrong, your pet could end up in a bald, bleeding, itchy, scratchy, flakey, smelly, moist infected mess.

If your furry friend isn’t furry, or is tearing himself to shreds, or can’t stop shaking her head; book in for an appointment.

Internal Medicine

Investigation usually involves; asking lots of questions (some of which might seem irrelevant), physical examination, laboratory tests (blood, urine, faeces…), diagnostic imaging (x-rays and ultrasound), and often a lot of thinking…

End of Life Care

We help families ensure that their pets have the best life that they can possibly have, right up until after they close their eyes for the last time.

If you are facing this hardest of steps, please call us or drop in and let us put your mind at rest and talk through all of your options.

Veterinary Hospital

A private hospital for your furry friend. With separate wards for dogs and cats, comfortable drybeds, intravenous infusion pumps, active warming and dedicated nurses, our hospital is well equipped to care for your pet.

Therapeutic Dentistry

Dental disease is one of the most common diseases in cats and dogs. Not only is dental disease painful for your pet, but the increased bacteria in their mouth can be associated with other conditions.

Behaviour

Our pets’ behaviour and mental health is becoming an increasingly important part of the veterinary care they need.

Dr Lucy White has a particular interest in helping pets with behavioural issues caused by fear, anxiety, frustration and phobias. She is a member of the Australian Veterinary Association’s Veterinary Behaviour Group.
