For when you can’t call them a “good boy”
Our pets’ behaviour and mental health is becoming an increasingly important part of the veterinary care they need.
Dr Lucy White has a particular interest in helping pets with behavioural issues caused by fear, anxiety, frustration and phobias. She is a member of the Australian Veterinary Association’s Veterinary Behaviour Group.
To best address your pet’s mental health, behavioural appointments run for 1 hour and we request a completed behaviour questionnaire prior to the visit.
Throughout the practice we aim to reduce the stress of vet visits, illness and hospitalisation using fear free techniques and calming pheromones. Our outdoor space is also available to those pets who find the clinic setting confronting.
Greater understanding of the underlying causes of behaviours has led to improved treatment outcomes, and that means happier, resilient and relaxed pets.
